I read the following 5 food reviews. One thing that I learned is the importantance of a good picture. A good picture of the restaurant and the food can impress the readers. It is quite important to descride the food and the overall feeling of the restaurant. We should describe the food in all aspects, including its making process, visual effect and taste. The background story of this restaruant or the chif advanced the story. We can add our personal perference in our food review. We can also interview some diners and add their personal opinions.

I mainly focus on the Asian restaurant review on the website. And after reading five of them, I found that the food review may not only focus on the food itself, but also the story about the restaurant and the chef or the owner. If needed, introducing the history of the restaurant or the owner would also be helpful for the readers to understand. Besides talking about the ingredient and the taste of the dish, we can also introduce the culture behind it. At the same time, since the food itself is the main part of the review, it is better to describe a dish as detailed as possible including its condiments and garnishes.
Furthermore, if I am familiar with the restaurant, I can give tips that are useful for people who try out for the first time. For restaurants with higher prices, it is also useful to compare dish at each price level.
